Global News Reported today that 2 people died and three others were injured in a fiery crash on a busy highway in the Toronto area, police said Monday. The accident happened about 9:30 p.m. Sunday on the eastbound collector lanes of Highway 401 in Mississauga, Ont. OPP reported that red Corvette was following another car too closely, made an illegal lane change and hit a transport truck. The transport truck then lost control, veered into another lane and hit a Madza motor vehicle before slamming into a guard rail. The truck ruck burst into flames and its trailer, full with skids of water, mounted the guard rail and crashed into the eastbound express lanes of the highway. OPP are asking anyone who witnessed the crash to call them.
