Global News reported today that Ornge Air Ambulance airlifted a man with life threatning injuries to a trauma center at the Hamilton General on Saturday. The bicycle accident happened just after 3:00 p.m. in the intersection of River Road and Kinzie Avenue in Kitchener. Reportedly, the cyclist was travelling west on River Road when he tried to make a left turn onto Kinzie Avenue and was struck by a car travelling east on River Road. The woman driving the car was not injured. The man was reportedly driving a gas powered mountain bicycle.
