CHCH reported this morning thta Scott Watson, of Hamilton, is not facing charges stemming from a motorcycle accident which left a man dead and his mother seriously injured. Allegedly, on December 28th 2019, Watson was driving a motorcycle late in the day when he hit 69-year-old Berkley James Wood and his elderly mother as they were crossing Mohawk Rd. near Upper Gage Ave. Wood unfortunately died and his mother is still recovering in hospital from her injuries. Media and Police voiced their frustration that motorists drove around the scene without stopping prior to police arrival.
