The Hamilton Police reported today that a 40-year-old Hamilton man was transported to the hospital after a Motorcycle Accident at Barton and Emerald on Sunday night. Shortly after 8:30 p.m., Hamilton Police received information about a motorcycle collision at Barton Street East and Emerald Street North. Once on scene, police located the male rider with obvious injuries to his lower body and head. The rider, a 40-year-old male from Hamilton was transported to the hospital with serious injuries. Police identified witnesses and through investigation it was leaned the motorcycle was travelling eastbound on Baron Street when the rider lost control and struck the centre median. He was subsequently thrown from the motorcycle. Anyone with information is asked to call the Hamilton Police.
