A 62 year old man was seriously hurt in a motorcycle crash over the weekend. Simcoe.com reported that a 62-year-old motorcycle rider from Beeton was airlifted to a Toronto hospital after he crashed on Hwy. 400 Sunday afternoon. The accident happened on the 400 highway south of Innisfil Beach Road at about 12:30 p.m. OPP Sgt. Kerry Schmidt reported that Ornge an air ambulance landed on a closed portion of the highway to transport the man, whose injuries are considered serious, to a Toronto trauma unit.
