Man Struck and Killed on 401

CP24 reported this morning that a 25 year old pedestrian was struck and killed last night following a possible road rage incident. It was said by police that the issue possibly began on the westbound express lanes of the highway near Allen Road around 6:45 p.m. The matter is still under investigation but policy say that a possible collision may have brought police out of their vehicles to exchange inforamtion and one of the men, a 25 year old, walked eastbound on the highway and was struck and killed by a transport truck.  Police are currently looking for motorists with dashcam video and are also checking into MTO cameras in the area.  All westbound express lanes of Highway 401 at Hogg’s Hollow Bridge have since reopened.
