Man who caused Ciasullo family death had multiple driving convictions in the past

MSN.com reported late yesterday that the 20-year-old who caused the death of a Brampton mother and her three young girls had in fact been convicted of driving infractions in the past.

On June 18, Karolina Ciasullo, 37, and her three children Klara, 6, Liliana, 4, and Mila, 1 lost their lives after Brady Robertson, who is accused of speeding, crashed into their SUV close to the corner of Torbram Road and Countryside Drive in Brampton. Robertson faces multiple charges for causing the fatal collision and is scheduled to appear in court on July 23.

Robertson had been charged with dangerous operation of a motor vehicle in a separate incident which occurred only two days before the devastating fatal crash. Further, he was charged all under suspension and using plates not authorized for a vehicle, as well as failing to surrender an insurance card in May 2019. In January 2020 he failed to show for the court date relating to the offenses, and was convicted of all three.
