Motorcyclist hurt in Crash on Jolley Cut

CHCH reported today that a man in his late 20s was rushed to a local trauma centre following a two vehicle accident on the jolly cut and Hamilton late yesterday. Hamilton police say that the motorcyclist was riding in the upbound lanes at approximately 7:15 PM when he crossed into the downbound lanes and collided with a Toyota motor vehicle. EMS arrived on scene and the man was taken to the Hamilton General Hospital with  serious but non-life threatening injuries.  The road was closed for several hours while police completed their investigation.
