CHCH reported today that a man in his late 20s was rushed to a local trauma centre following a two vehicle accident on the jolly cut and Hamilton late yesterday. Hamilton police say that the motorcyclist was riding in the upbound lanes at approximately 7:15 PM when he crossed into the downbound lanes and collided with a Toyota motor vehicle. EMS arrived on scene and the man was taken to the Hamilton General Hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries. The road was closed for several hours while police completed their investigation. Anybody with knowledge of how the accident occurred is asked to call Det. Cst. Jaimi Bannon at 905-546-4753 or Det.
