One Person Dead following Multi-Vehicle Crash in Oakville

CP-24 News reported this morning that one person has died following a multi-vehicle crash in Oakville this morning. The crash, involving a car, dumptruck and schoolbus, happened shortly before 8:00 a.m. in Oakville, OPP say. The accident happened on the QEW westbound, west of Ford Drive. No students were hurt in the crash. One vehicle was pinned in a vehicle that became trapped underneath the dumptruck, but it is unknown at this time wether this was the deceased.  Two victims with minor injuries were taken to Oakville Hospital for treatment.  All lanes continue to be blocked while police investigate. If anyone witnessed the crash they are asked to call OPP or Halton Police.
