CTV News reported that a woman was airlifted to a Toronto trauma centre after a collision with a dump truck in Conestogo. The accident happened just north of Waterloo, at the intersection of Northfield Drive and Sawmill Road, around 11:30 a.m. The woman, who suffered serious injuries, was airlifted by Ornge air Ambulance. A nearby public school was briefly put in hold and secure while the helicoter was landing. The woman’s car sustained significant damage.
