CHCH reported that 26 year old Megan Carter complained that she was assaulted by Hamilton Police in Hess Village on New Years Eve. CHCH reported that Carter was celebrating with friends when one of them was arrested by Hamilton Police. It was reported that as the officer’s cruiser was pullilng away, Carter slapped the back of the car, prompting the officer to stop his vehicle, exit and throw Carter to the ground, breaking her tooth and her elbow. Carter has since launched a complaint and was told the SIU would investigate. You can read the article here.
