Global News reported this morning that motorcyclist has been pronouned dead after a crash with a pickup truck in Caledonia on Friday morning. OPP in Haldimand County received the call about a motorcycle accident just after 8:00 a.m. on Highway 54 east of Mines Road. OPP also say the truck and motorcycle were both travelling westbound on Highway 54 when the motorcycle appeared to have tried to pass and collided with the side of the pickup. The motorcyclist, a 53-year-old woman, was ejected and suffered life-threatening injuries. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
