A Sunderland woman was pronounced deceased after a motorcycle crash involving a motorcycle and a pickup truck in Kawartha Lakes several days ago. Durham radio news reported the crash late yesterday. It was said that EMS was called about 3 PM last Sunday to a rural intersection northwest of Lindsay Ontario. It was also reported by OPP that the truck driver was hurt although his injuries were not life-threatening.
OPP reported that 51-year-old Jennifer Jones of Sunderland Ontario died of her injuries Wednesday. Investigators are still trying to reconstruct the crash.
I call Matt my knight in shining armour. After I was struck by a car while cycling and permanently crippled, he fielded all communications with my especially difficult and downright nasty insurance adjuster. Every step of my care was a battle and I did not have the strength to fight alone.
